Airforce HQ - Berlin

The Nazi’s called this the Reichs Air Transport Ministry, however it was really the air force headquarters. The man in charge here was Hermann Göring who at least in the early days was the second most important Nazi after Hitler and a highly decorated First World War fighter pilot.

The building went on to be used by the Soviets and then the East Germans. Today, without the eagles and swastikas, it is used as the German tax office.

We'll also discuss the Luftwaffe HQ on our FREE TOUR.
