Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe by Peter Eisenman – several thousand concrete slabs at different heights with an engaging, free exhibition underneath.
At €27 million, some saw the money better spent somewhere with like Sachsenhausen but all who come to Berlin will see this. It feels odd when you walk through it but it means different things to different people, and is said to be deliberately vague.
